Holiday Season in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has many new festivals and events turning the town into a Winter Wonderland. Some are new for this season and some are returning favorites. There are a few others not mentioned here. The other ones do not have the courtesy to invite the media for a preview, so we don’t review or suggest them.

Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

This is the annual favorite of all us in the Las Vegas media. To us, this is the kick-off to the holiday season. This year marks the 22nd year of this drive-thru holiday light display to be presented at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Each year it gets bigger and better. There are over 6 million lights on the 2 ½ mile path. Stay nice and warm with your family as you drive this course in your own vehicle. There is accompanying sound as you drive from a radio station which you tune on your car. Goettl Heating and Air Conditioning is once again the presenting corporate sponsor for this event. Many local children’s charities benefit from ticket proceeds. This has to be on your list of holiday festivities!
