RISING STAR DERMOT KENNEDY WILL VISIT THE PEARL AT PALMS
Dermot Kennedy, who in two short years has gone from performing his first U.S. club show at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, N.Y., to his debut at Radio City Music Hall, will make a tour stop at The Pearl at Palms on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at 8 p.m. Ticket range is $35 to $79.95.
Kennedy’s debut album, “Without Fear,” is being released this week. The global wonder made his U.S. television debut on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and followed with an appearance on “The Ellen Show,” where he performed “Power Over Me,” which has reached No. 1 in the airplay charts in France, Germany and Belgium and achieved Double Platinum in Ireland, Platinum in the Netherlands and Switzerland and Gold in Canada.
DONNY & MARIE HONORED WITH SHARED STAR
Donny and Marie Osmond were honored by the Las Vegas Walk of Stars with a shared star in an unveiling ceremony at the entrance outside the Flamingo where the siblings have headlined together for more than 11 years. They will take their final bow at Flamingo on Nov. 16.
TOASTED GASTROBRUNCH DEBUTS IN LAS VEGAS
Toasted, Las Vegas’ first Gastrobrunch concept featuring restaurateur Sami Ladeki’s creative and playfully decadent breakfast and lunch cuisine, opened last week at 9516 W. Flamingo Road off Highway I-215 freeway. Hours are daily 7 a.m.–3 p.m. with breakfast and brunch service.
Breakfast cocktails, Bloody Marys and flaming coffees complement staples such as Red Velvet Pancakes, Shrimp & Grits, and innovative versions of Egg Benedicts and French Toasts like the Short Rib Benny and Elvis French Toast. The menu is very creative and entertaining to read with eye-catching names like Eggs in Purgatory and Duck Confit Toast. Most dishes cost between $11 and $16.
Ladeki also owns Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill locations, which is apparent if you get a to go bag, which has both restaurants’ logos. Portions are very generous so you may need a container.
DUELING AXES WILL JOIN AREA15’S INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES
Dueling Axes, the premiere indoor axe-throwing lounge native to Columbus, Ohio, is the latest interactive attraction to announce it will join AREA15’s experiential retail and entertainment complex currently under construction and opening next year. Becoming Dueling Axes’ second location, the 6,3000-square-foot outlet will encompass nearly triple the space and number of throwing lanes than its Columbus counterpart. The attraction will feature 18 throwing lanes for up to six participants each; four lanes will be dedicated to the VIP and private party room accommodating groups of up to 25 guests.
The Dueling Axes’ lounge will include a beer and wine bar, and guests will be encouraged to bring their favorite takeout from any of AREA15’s eateries into the venue.
Dueling Axes joins AREA15’s recently announced growing collection of attractions including Nomadic, Emporium, Meow Wolf Las Vegas, and Oddwood cocktail and coffee bar.
FLEETWOOD MAC’S FINAL WORLD TOUR SHOW WILL BE AT T-MOBILE
Grammy Award-winning band Fleetwood Mac announced the final show for their 2018/2019 sold out world tour, which kicked off last October with 80+ concert events across eight countries, will be on Saturday, Nov. 16 at T-Mobile Arena. Tickets start at $99.
Fleetwood Mac was founded by Peter Green in 1967 and named after Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. After Green left in 1969, Fleetwood and McVie remained as original members. Christine McVie joined the band in 1970, while Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham came aboard in 1974. Fleetwood Mac has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and the Grammy Award-winning band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. The tour features the newly minted lineup of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie and newcomers Mike Campbell and Neil Finn.
EARTHQUAKE VISITS THE LAUGH FACTORY
Comedian, actor and voice artist Earthquake has a six-week residency at the 320-seat Laugh Factory on the mezzanine level of the Tropicana with shows Thursday-Saturday at 7 p.m. from Oct. 10-Nov. 23 (dark Nov. 7-9). Tickets start at $49.95 for general admission.
Earthquake earned fans via programming platforms fueled by BET, Comedy Central, Showtime, and HBO’s coveted 30-minute comedy special series, “One Night Stand,” plus more. The new resident comedian is mostly known as the beloved Uncle Mike from the hit sitcom, “Everybody Hates Chris.” Recently, he made a guest appearance on Bounce Network’s, “In the Cut,” and the Wanda Sykes produced “Face Value” airing on BET Network.
His film credits include animated favorite “Barnyard,” “Something Like a Business” with Kevin Hart, “Getting Played” with Vivica Fox, Ice Cube’s “The Longshots,” and the Kevin Smith cult classic “Clerks II.”
RTC BIKE SHARE CELEBRATES THIRD ANNIVERSARY ALL MONTH
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is celebrating three years of bike share service in downtown Las Vegas with a special $3 three-day pass, which is normally $10, and exclusive deals from downtown establishments through Oct. 31. There are 21 stations and 200 bikes available, including the recent addition of 20 electric pedal-assist bikes.

ROD STEWART SERENADES BRITISH WEDDING COUPLE
Wedding bells rang for British couple, Sharon Cook and Andrew Aitchison, who were left stranded in Liverpool, England, just days before they were set to tie the knot at Caesars Palace. The couple and their 14 guests were victims of Thomas Cook’s abrupt bankruptcy when Caesars Palace and Delta Air Lines stepped in to throw them their wedding. The couple exchanged vows at the hotel’s picturesque Venus Garden Chapel surrounded by friends and family. As the ceremony concluded, a surprise wedding crasher was The Colosseum’s resident headliner Rod Stewart who performed a special acoustic version of “Have I Told You Lately” backed by three string musicians. Stewart then personally invited the entire wedding party to his Colosseum show, “Rod Stewart: The Hits.”
Legendary rock star Stewart will return to Las Vegas in 2020 for 16 shows of his residency “Rod Stewart: The Hits,” with select dates in March and September, and ending on Oct. 3. Tickets for his 7:30 p.m. performances start at $49.
