KODI LEE HEADLINES ‘AMERICA’S GOT TALENT LIVE’ AT PARIS
Singer and pianist Kodi Lee, the million-dollar winner of the sensational Season 14 of “America’s Got Talent,” will headline “America’s Got Talent Live” show at Paris Las Vegas, Nov. 7-10. Lee will be joined on stage with guest Season 14 finalists Detroit Youth Choir, comedian Ryan Niemiller, dance group V. Unbeatable, and violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa. Tickets begin at $59.
Lee, who was judge Gabrielle Union’s Golden Buzzer, was born with optic nerve hypoplasia rendering him legally blind at an early age. He is also autistic and suffers from Addison's Disease, which is a life-threatening disorder. He recently picked up tap dancing and is one of only a few who can tap dance and sing simultaneously.
BELLAGIO CELEBRATES 10,000 PERFORMANCES OF “O”
On Saturday, Sept. 28, “O” by Cirque du Soleil will celebrate performing more than 10,000 shows with a first-ever acrobatic performance at 3:30 p.m. on The Fountains of Bellagio. The show honoring the milestone will be the first of four performances. The act “Barge” will perform on Saturdays, Sept. 28 and Oct. 12, and “Contortion” on Sundays, Sept. 29 and Oct. 13. “O” artists will be on the sidewalk beside The Fountains.
RIO BEING SOLD
For years it’s been rumored Caesars Entertainment wanted to sell the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. It’s being sold to a New York-based real estate group for $516.3 million. The agreement will allow Caesars to continue operating the property pursuant to a lease for a minimum of two years and pay annualized rent. In addition, the Rio will continue to be part of the Caesars Rewards network during the lease. Next year, the World Series of Poker will be hosted at the Rio and tournament rights will remain with Caesars Entertainment thereafter.
THE PALMS BUILDS A DOME OVER KAOS
The crane at the Palms is for the building of a dome over KAOS making it Las Vegas’ largest climate-controlled, fully enclosed domed structure creating the ultimate seasonal dayclub/nightclub and resort pool experience. The 70-foot tall transparent dome will cover the 60-foot “Demon with Bowl” sculpture by Damien Hirst and offer 33,000 square feet of multi-use space.
Cardi B will kick off the grand opening of dome season with a “Demon Dome” Halloween party, inspired by the movie “Mad Max” on the night of Oct. 31. Meanwhile KAOS is temporarily going dark during construction.
HARD ROCK CELEBRATES 25 YEARS WITH MEMORABILIA EXHIBITION
The Hard Rock is opening a specially curated memorabilia exhibition to celebrate the hotel and casino’s 25-year history from 1995-2020. The Hard Rock Memorabilia Exhibition will be open to the public Friday, Sept. 27, and is the kick-off of the property’s “Farewell Tour” of activations before its transformation to Virgin Hotels in February 2020.
The free exhibition will feature artifacts such as costumes, musical instruments, props and artwork not seen by the public in decades by superstar rock performers. New items will be added to the collection on a regular basis, during the exhibition’s four-month engagement through Jan. 31, 2020.
The Hard Rock Memorabilia Exhibition will be located near Pink Taco, off the Paradise parking garage, and open Thursday–Monday from 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
BILLY IDOL RETURNS TO THE PALMS NEXT MARCH
“Billy Idol: Las Vegas Presented by SiriusXM” is being extended and will return to The Pearl at Palms on March 6-7, 11, 13-14, 2020. His remaining dates this year are Oct. 4-5, 9, 11-12. Tickets are $39.50 - $159.95.

LUENELL IS EXTENDING HER ENGAGEMENT AT KIMMEL’S COMEDY CLUB
Comedian/actress and self-proclaimed Original Bad Girl of Comedy, Luenell is extending her time headlining at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at The LINQ Promenade. Luenell’s initial eight-show engagement from August - September has been extended with 14 new 10 p.m. Sunday shows through Jan. 5.
Luenell is best known for her breakthrough role as the “hooker with the heart of gold” in the Oscar-nominated, blockbuster comedy “Borat.” Luenell is in the upcoming Netflix movie, “Dolemite Is My Name,” starring comedy legend Eddie Murphy, heading to theatres Oct. 4. Plus, she’s joined the all-star cast for the sequel, “Coming to America 2,” currently filming in Atlanta, starring Murphy and Arsenio Hall.

“Danny Zelisko Presents Jackie Evancho” will headline The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. Reserved seating tickets start at $35.
Evancho became a worldwide sensation as a child prodigy vocalist when she was only 10 years old and became a finalist on “American’s Got Talent.” She has released a string of platinum and gold albums, with sales more than 3 million in the United States. Along the way, she made history including being the youngest solo platinum artist, youngest person to give a solo concert at Lincoln Center, and the highest-ranking debut artist of 2010. All seven of Evancho’s albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Classical chart. Her latest album released this year is “The Debut.”
GWEN STEFANI ANNOUNCES FINAL VEGAS-RESIDENCY SHOW DATES
Multi-Platinum recording artist and current judge on “The Voice,” Gwen Stefani has announced the final 16 performance dates for her two-year headlining residency, “Gwen Stefani – Just A Girl” at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, which started in June 2018. The final shows will be in February and May 2020. Tickets begin at $40.
Stefani recently took the helm as co-creator and executive producer of “Kuu Kuu Harajuku,” a children’s animated TV show in its third season on Nick Jr., fulfilling her mission of providing young girls with content that celebrates creativity, imagination, and fearless individuality.
LAS VEGAS BREWERY OPENS TAPROOM IN ARTS DISTRICT
After five successful years in Henderson, CraftHaus Brewery will celebrate the grand opening of a second taproom CraftHaus Arts District at 197 East California Street in the Arts District downtown on Saturday, Sept. 28 with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening party at 4 p.m., which will include the opportunity to purchase a logoed glass and fill it for $8.
In the 1,800-square-foot space, CraftHaus Arts District will feature 24 taps with 16 devoted to CraftHaus brews, four guest beers, cider, Vesta Cold Brew coffee on Nitrogen and white wine. A pairing menu will be available, as well as bites curated by Chef James Trees of Esther’s Kitchen, the tasting room’s neighbor. The venue will pay homage to the Arts District neighborhood with a custom 24-foot mural by artist Donovan Fitzgerald featuring a “Jubilee!”-inspired showgirl. Hours are daily opening at 11:30 a.m. and going to 11 p.m. and midnight on weekends.
MT. CHARLESTON HOSTS CELEBRATION ON NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY
Mt. Charleston will hold its second Green the Mountain celebration on National Public Lands Day, Saturday, Sept. 28. From 9-11 a.m., more than 700 volunteers will participate in litter cleanups, a Joshua tree seedling planting, and aiding in the instillation of 16 new pet waste stations at trailheads. After the cleanup, the public is invited to a free concert by The Russian Dragon, from noon to 3 p.m. All purchases at the concert will benefit Go Mt. Charleston.
EDC FANS ARE GOBBLING UP TICKETS FOR 2020
The dates for the mega dust-to-dawn, three-day Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will be May 15-17. Report is less than 48 hours after officially going on sale, EDC 2020 sold out GA, GA+ and VIP tickets in record-breaking time. Attracting half a million fans to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the 2019 edition utilized an entirely new festival layout with new stage designs for six of the eight stages, featured 46 theatrical troupes, carnival rides and interactive art installations, and debuted new areas like Downtown EDC, Pixel Forest, and Nomadsland.
DISCOVERY CHILDREN’S MUSEUM HAS SUBARU CAR CARE CENTER
Discovery Children’s Museum in partnership with Subaru of Las Vegas opened the museum’s newest Eco City “business,” Subaru Car Care Center. Fully equipped with a replica of the Subaru Ascent and showroom, families can become mechanics or customers learning helpful environmentally friendly ways to apply to the automotive industry.
Eco City is an eco-friendly city within the museum made up of buildings and businesses so visitors can experience real-life sequences, while learning about “Green” lifestyles and jobs. Inside the center is an Auto Inspection zone where families can practice checking the battery, testing the lights and the horn, check and refill fluid levels and change air filters. Subaru of Las Vegas also created an Auto Inspection Checklist for visitors.
DIRTY HEADS HEADLINE CONCERT AT MANDALAY BAY BEACH
Southern California’s pop/reggae/hip-hop band the Dirty Heads will perform at Mandalay Bay’s 2019 Concerts on the Beach Series sponsored by MillerCoors and Pepsi on Friday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. General admission tickets are $62.50.
SoCal alt-rockers Dirty Heads released their seventh studio album, “Super Moon” at the beginning of August. The group has been redefining the sound of Southern California since 2003 and delivering hit after hit over their 16-year career.
STATION CASINOS HOSTS 10TH ANNUAL ‘PROJECT PINK’ IN OCTOBER
Station Casinos for the 10th consecutive year is hosting its “Project Pink,” a company-wide initiative supporting the fight against breast cancer as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To date, more than $581,000 has been donated by the company to the Susan G. Komen Nevada and American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign.

PAHRUMP HOLDS 55TH ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL
An annual tradition for 55 years, the Pahrump Fall Festival is returning to Petrack Park in Pahrump, Nev., an hour drive from Las Vegas, for four days of family fun, Sept. 26-29. Attractions and events will include an Oktoberfest-inspired parade, rodeo, carnival rides, car show and array of food and craft vendors. The festival is free and open to the public. Unlimited carnival ride bands available at the gate for $30. Rodeo tickets are available at the gate for $15.

Daniel Kermani and his team of baristas have opened Daniel’s Coffee & More, a new, modern sophisticated coffee boutique at 335 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd. #100. The 2,000-square-foot lounge is adorned with neon tree sculptures and tropical green accents, and there’s a drive-thru window. The business uses La Marzocco machines, handmade in Florence, Italy, and has a partnership with La Colombe, a premier coffee roaster and distributor.
