THE WHO HAVE SUMMER RESIDENCY AT THE COLOSSEUM
Legendary English rock band The Who will launch their exclusive Las Vegas-residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on July 29. The Who brought together four different personalities, which produced a musical hurricane that is still going strong today. The group has sold more than 100 million records since they were formed in 1964. Tickets for their first six shows, July 29, Aug. 1, 4, 7, 9 and 11, range from $76 to $501.
BOSTON MAKES TOUR STOP AT PARK THEATER AT MONTE CARLO
American rock band Boston will make a Hyper Space Tour stop at Park Theater at Monte Carlo on Saturday, June 17 at 8 p.m. with supporting act Night Ranger. Tickets range from $39 to $189.
It’s been more than 40 years since Boston released its self-titled debut album. At that time, all of Boston’s albums were conceived in a basement, and written, produced and recorded by Tom Scholz, an MIT graduate who designed specialized equipment to capture the songs he heard in his head. With more than 31 million albums sold to date, the group generated rock staple hits such as “More Than a Feeling,” "Peace of Mind,” "Foreplay/Long Time,” and “Smokin’.”
PINOT’S PALETTE OPENS THIRD OUTLET AT TOWN SQUARE
Pinot’s Palette, the paint-and-sip studio, will open its third La s Vegas valley studio on Friday, April 7 at Town Square, across from the Yard House and just below AMC Town Square 18 theatre. The new venue will be slightly smaller with a more intimate feel and hold up to 48 guests in the main studio and 24 in the private party room. Pinot’s Palette provides all art supplies needed for each painting class, and is staffed by professional artists who recreate the featured painting step-by-step with every brushstroke being displayed on a 75-inch monitor. With 22 different wines, and a dozen different beers, along with non-alcoholic offerings, this is a social event not a formal art class.
For the grand opening weekend on April 7 and 8, the upscale wine and painting experience is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to give back to the community by “Painting It Forward.” Supporters can sign up for either of the two-hour 7 p.m. classes for $39, with 100 percent of the painting proceeds to be donated to St. Jude.
The other two Pinot’s Palette studios are located at The District at Green Valley and Boca Park. Local husband and wife team Reed and Judy Alewel are owners of all three Pinot’s Palettes. An advantage of the Pinot’s Palette franchise is its access to a nationwide library of paintings. The three locations will have nearly 100 public classes each month.
‘MAGIC MIKE LIVE LAS VEGAS’ IS READY TO OPEN AT THE HARD ROCK
Preview performances of “Magic Mike Live Las Vegas” at the Hard Rock Hotel will be March 30-April 2 at 7:30 and 10 p.m. with tickets starting at $49. The ongoing performance schedule will begin April 5 with shows Wednesday-Sunday at 7:30 and 10 p.m. This will be an all-new entertainment experience based on the hit films “Magic Mike” and “Magic Mike XXL.” The show will recreate the mythical Club Domina as a cabaret nightclub space inside the Hard Rock Hotel that is being fully redesigned to capture the magnetism of the Magic Mike franchise.
SIEGFRIED WILL RECEIVE KEEP MEMORY ALIVE CAREGIVER AWARD
Keep Memory Alive will honor illusionist Siegfried Fischbacher of the legendary duo Siegfried & Roy with the inaugural Caregiver Award during the 21st annual Power of Love® gala on Thursday, April 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The annual star-studded fundraiser pays tribute to individuals who have gone above and beyond to care for those who are unable to care for themselves. Siegfried has provided around-the-clock care for Roy Horn, his best friend, performing partner and co-founder of their Las Vegas show that entertained more than 25 million fans, who was left with physical limitations after the onstage accident with the tiger. This new meaningful recognition award will become an annual tradition at future Power of Love® galas. Also being honored this year will be philanthropist Ronald O. Perelman and Las Vegas tennis star, Andre Agassi.
NEWEST LAS VEGAS DANCE STUDIO
There was much excitement at the grand opening of the new Dance With Me dance studio at Tivoli Village earlier this month. The big reason was three of “Dancing with the Stars” famous professionals Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani were prominently in attendance. The three men are dance studio business partners with eight more Dance With Me studios located in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Texas. Brothers Maks’ and Val’s father, Sasha Chmerkovskiy, and other studio partners, cut the ribbon with Las Vegas City Councilman Bob Beers.
Dance With Me is a dance experience with all types of dance lessons, group classes, showcases and competitions in a classy environment.
PITBULL’S VODKA 305 HAS DEAL WITH SUGAR FACTORY
Grammy-award winning artist Armando Christian Perez better known as international superstar Pitbull aka “Mr. Worldwide” was at the newest Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Fashion Show Mall last weekend to officially launch their partnership with his vodka. Voli 305 is now the exclusive vodka used in Sugar Factory’s signature cocktails including the 60 oz. alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets. Additional events will be held to introduce the vodka and a new goblet Pitbull has created.

PEABO BRYSON WILL PERFORM AT THE ORLEANS SHOWROOM
Grammy Award-winning vocalist, songwriter and producer Peabo Bryson will bring his soulful hits to The Orleans Showroom April 28 at 8 p.m. and 29 at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $39.95.
Bryson has released 20 albums, had multiple chart-topping hits like “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again,” “Let The Feeling Flow” and “Can You Stop the Rain,” and made music history when he became the first artist to have separate records topping four different charts. Bryson won two Grammy Awards for “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for performances on Disney movie soundtracks, including the duet “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion and “A Whole New World” from the film “Aladdin.” After enjoying crossover success, Bryson released his most recent album, “Missing You,” as a tribute to his mother and sister.
JACOB FOREVER AND ROBERTICO HEADLINE AT SAM’S TOWN LIVE!
Jacob Forever, formerly a member of Gente de Zona until going solo in 2012, will present his signature Cuban sounds at Sam’s Town Live! with featured special guest comedian Robertico on Saturday, April 15 at 9 p.m. Forever’s hit single, “Hasta Que Se Seque El Malecon,” was released in 2015 and nominated for a Latin Grammy Award. Tickets start at $60.
RED ROCK HOSTS 9TH ANNUAL ALL-STAR GUITAR PULL
The 9th Annual All-Star Guitar Pull presented by 95.5 The Bull will be held Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m. in the Red Rock Ballroom. The country artists being featured include Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi and Lauren Alaina performing, with special guest Chris Stapleton kicking off the night with a three-song acoustic set. Tickets range from $29-$59.
Chris Stapleton has co-written six No. 1 hits for some of country music’s biggest stars and has continually worked as an in-demand session musician. His album “Traveller” released in May 2015 on Mercury Records Nashville initially debuted at number two on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Stapleton’s show with guest artist Maren Morris is sold out the same night at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms.
Darius Rucker first attained multi-platinum status as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Hootie & the Blowfish. Since re-introducing himself as a country artist, his first single, “Don't Think I Don't Think About It,” in 2008 made him the first African American with a No. 1 country song since Charley Pride in 1983.
California native Jon Pardi toured as an opening act for label mate Dierks Bentley and released his debut album “Write You a Song” in 2014, which peaked at number three on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
Georgia native Lauren Alaina appeared on Season 10 of “American Idol.” She recently released a self-titled five-song EP and co-wrote every track on it and has toured with superstars including Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
‘JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR’ CONCERT BENEFITS GOLDEN RAINBOW
The hit Broadway rock opera, “Jesus Christ Superstar” will be staged as a special charity concert at the Tropicana Theater for nonprofit Golden Rainbow on Saturday, April 8 at 2 p.m. The show will feature famed cast members, an on-stage orchestra directed by Jersey Boys’ Keith Thompson, and an exclusive band put together by Vincent Verderame of Blue Man Group. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Golden Rainbow. Tickets are $25 general admission and $100 VIP.
DRAI’S BEACHCLUB RETURNS
Drai’s Beachclub, which is Vegas’ only rooftop pool club, is returning atop of The Cromwell. Partygoers and will be privy to some of the world’s most celebrated DJs, returning exclusive resident artists G-Eazy, Machine Gun Kelly, and other artists. Drai’s Beachclub offers a variety of plush amenities throughout the sprawling 30,000-square-foot slip-proof pool deck, including seven pools, 30 luxury cabanas and bungalows, 40 daybeds, two full-service bars, a full-service café, complimentary towel service and more.

SOUTH POINT WILL HOLDS FIRST $1 MILLION BINGO EVENT
For the first time, South Point’s 700-seat Bingo Room will host a $1 Million Extravaganza Bingo Event on Friday and Saturday, July 21-22. Buy-in tickets are available for $495, which includes one 9-ON pack for July 21 and 22, food coupons and dauber.
Ticketholders will have the opportunity to play up to 60 games each day, with $1,000, $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000 going to the winner of each game, and with the coverall winner earning $100,000. Local nonprofit Dress for Success Southern Nevada will host its fifth annual champagne luncheon and fashion show themed “Road to the Sun” this year at the Four Seasons hotel from noon to 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 28. JC’s Irish Sports Pub at the JW Marriott hotel had its last St. Patrick’s Day celebration last weekend because the authentic Irish pub closed its doors on March 20 to make room for a full sportsbook.
Chef Cesare Casella will be the first guest chef for the Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group’s (B&BHG) dinner series beginning Saturday, April 1 at Carnevino Italian Steakhouse at The Palazzo. Casella, who is rarely without his signature sprig of rosemary tucked into his pocket, is an acclaimed New York chef who is considered the “dean of Italian cooking.” The five-course dinner is $150 with wine pairings and gratuity included.
Roy's Hawaiian Fusion restaurant on Flamingo Road will hold a Spring Cooking Class and luncheon on Saturday, April 8 at 11:30 a.m. Focus will be on the flavors of spring, participants will watch and learn how to prepare three courses and enjoy a private lunch. Cost is $45.

Storyteller and humorist Garrison Keillor is returning by popular demand on Saturday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. to The Smith Center with a solo performance sharing his anecdotes about growing up in the American Midwest, the people of Lake Wobegon, and “late-life fatherhood.” Tickets start at $29. Keillor was the acclaimed host of the radio show “A Prairie Home Companion” for 42 years. He has received Grammy, ACE and George Foster Peabody awards.
The Lettermen are returning to the South Point Showroom for a music-filled weekend of impeccable harmonies, March 24-26 with shows at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $35. Tony Orlando will follow with his energetic show and 70s’ hits March 31-April 2 with tickets starting at $45.
Four-time Grammy winner Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will have “A Very Intimate Acoustic Evening” performance at the Palms in the Pearl Concert Theater on Friday, March 24 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $29.
The ACM Party For A Cause: Songwriter Showcase will be held at the Pearl Concert Theater on Friday, March 31 at 8 p.m. This will be an evening with Nashville’s songwriters and hit makers giving an inside look at top country songs. Being featured will be Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird, Shane McAnally and more to be announced. Tickets range from $30-$90.

The Springs Preserve’s seasonal Butterfly Habitat, which is open each fall and spring weather permitting, is now available for visitors daily through May 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to the Butterfly Habitat is $2 for members, $3 for non-members.
The 2017 Vegas Food Expo will be held at the Gold Coast March 30 and 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Robin Leach will be a special host. There will be more than 120 food producers at the exhibit.

NASCAR FAN SECURES FIRST TICKETS TO 2018 LVMS RACES
The answer to a possible future trivia question will be Toni Jackson from Bellflower, Calif. The question will be “Who was the first racing fan to secure tickets for both 2018 NASCAR weekends at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) in March and September?” Jackson has attended LVMS’ spring races with her husband, Steve, since 2004.
