ENRIQUE IGLESIAS ANNOUNCES TWO U.S. SHOWS AT RESORTS WORLD
Multi-platinum pop icon Enrique Iglesias has planned two exclusive U.S. shows in 2022 at the 5,000-capacity Resorts World Theatre on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17 at 9 p.m. In celebration of Mexican Independence Day Weekend, the Latin recording artist will bring his chart-topping hits, with special guest, Los Tres Tristes Tigres, to the newest stage on the Strip.
Known for his musical versatility across pop and urban genres of music in Spanish and English, Iglesias has sold more than 180 million albums worldwide, released 11 studio albums and currently holds the record for most number ones on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart’s history with a total of 27 No. 1 singles.
‘BAT OUT OF HELL–THE MUSICAL’ WILL HAVE GLOBAL RESIDENCY AT PARIS
The award-winning hit production “Bat Out of Hell – The Musical,” featuring Jim Steinman’s book, music and lyrics and Meat Loaf’s greatest hits, is set to perform in two entertainment destinations– the Las Vegas Strip and London’s West End. The theatre experience will debut its ongoing residency at Paris on Sept. 27. The show will also return to London for a limited season at the Peacock Theatre beginning Feb. 17, 2023.
Steinman’s “Bat Out of Hell – The Musical” is a Rocky-Horror, Romeo-and-Juliet celebration of star-crossed lovers from opposite sides of the tracks caught in a city teetering on the brink of disaster. When Raven falls in love with the rebellious Strat, all bets are off in this love-at-all-costs, rock-and-rollercoaster story based on uncompromising youth.
For the stage musical, the chart-topping rock songs propel an epic story of rebellious youth and passion as Strat, the immortal leader of The Lost, has fallen in love with Raven, the beautiful daughter of the tyrannical ruler Falco.
“Bat Out of Hell” by Meat Loaf became one of the best-selling albums in history, selling more than 60 million copies worldwide. Sixteen years later, Steinman scored again with “Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell,” which contained the massive hit “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That).”
