Global lifestyle icon Martha Stewart and Marquee Brands will bring her celebrated brand to life with her first-ever restaurant. The Bedford by Martha Stewart, a fully immersive restaurant concept designed to bring Stewart’s famed country farmhouse in Bedford, N.Y., to life, will open at Paris Las Vegas in Spring 2022.
Designed by Stewart herself, the restaurant will draw inspiration from Steward's country farmhouse, where she brings the outdoors in. With 194 seats, the intimate eatery will offer guests an authentic glimpse of how she lives and entertains in her own home. Stewart’s functional and practical lifestyle will take center stage in her thoughtfully appointed décor, which will embrace a neutral color palette and act as a perfect backdrop to four seasons of color.
Stewart and her team of culinary experts are developing seasonal dinner, weekend brunch, and holiday menus featuring exceptional quality and creativity. Signature menu items will be created from sourcing seasonal, high-quality ingredients from various local purveyors and some of Martha’s personal favorites.
In 2019, Marquee Brands acquired the Martha Stewart brand, which reaches approximately 100 million consumers across all media and merchandising platforms each month.
PETER LUGER STEAK HOUSE TO OPENAT CAESARS PALACE
Legendary New York Steak House Peter Luger is coming to Caesars Palace at the end of 2022. This marks the first domestic expansion in more than60 years for the Michelin-starred restaurant, which opened its doors in 1887 and is commonly known as New York City’s original steak house. It will be their first U.S. location outside of New York and will be located near MR CHOW at the resort.
Operating for nearly 135 years, Peter Luger is New York’s top-rated steak house and a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The iconic German beerhall setting has become a famous choice for family gatherings, deal-making, and special occasion celebrations. With its notoriously gruff, bow-tied waitstaff, old-world charm, and on-site dry-aging of legendary USDA-Prime steaks, dining at Peter Luger has become a culinary rite of passage.
Peter Luger Steak House originated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with a second location in Great Neck, N.Y., and a recently opened a spot in Tokyo.
SAMMY HAGAR’S RESIDENCY AT THE STRAT ADD SIX DATES
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar has announced six new performance dates for his Las Vegas Strip residency, “Sammy Hagar & Friends,” at The STRAT. Due to popular demand, new concerts have been added on Wednesdays, Feb. 9 and March 23, Fridays, Feb. 11, and March 25, and Saturdays, Feb. 12and March 26. “Party Pit” General Admission section tickets begin at $100.
The announcement comes on the heels of Hagar’s designation as the first official Honorary Ambassador for Los Cabos, Mexico. Honoring his longtime investment in the people and economy of Los Cabos, an award and medal were presented to Hagar last week at a commemorative ceremony with some of the region’s top dignitaries.
Hagar’s residency, which debuted last fall with six sold-out concerts, is showcased in the 900-seat STRAT Theater, where he will continue to be joined by his best-selling rock supergroup, The Circle. “Sammy Hagar & Friends” celebrates more than four decades of Hagar’s greatest hits, spanning from his solo career to fronting epic bands including Montrose, Van Halen, Chickenfoot and The Circle.

The Cosmopolitan will hold the 11th Annual Hoops & Hops college basketball watch party Thursday-Saturday, March 17-19 inside the Belmont Ballroom. The resort’s 40,000-square-foot venue will be transformed into a reimagined viewing lounge, featuring wall-to-wall stadium-style projection screens, 10 betting stations, an on-site sports book, hardwood basketball court, interactive games, extensive culinary menu and more. Doors will open one hour before tip-off.

LUDACRIS, DABABY, LIL BABY HEADLINE DRAI’S NFL PRO BOWL WEEKEND
Drai’s Nightclub will welcome football fans with a superstar lineup of Drai’s LIVE performances for the weekend of the NFL Pro Bowl. Ludacris will kick off the weekend on Friday, Feb. 4, followed by DaBaby on Saturday, Feb. 5. Drai’s has also announced it will bring back Sunday night parties to the nightclub during Pro Bowl weekend with Lil Baby performing a concert after the Pro Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 6.
Three-time Grammy award winner, Lil Baby was recently awarded the title of “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist” at the 2021 BET Music Awards. His album entitled “My Turn” won

M RESORT INITIATES CONCERT SERIES WITH TWO SHOWS
The M Resort will continue its concert series for the year with two more shows, which will each start at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets for both will start at $15. In February, fans of the legendary Motown recording artists The Dramatics and The Delfonics can attend a memorable performance on Saturday, Feb. 12.
The Dramatics are an American soul music vocal group, formed in Detroit, Mich., in 1964. They are best known for their 1970s hit songs “In the Rain” and “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get,” both of which were Top 10 Pop hits, as well as their later 1993 collaboration “Doggy Dogg World” with Snoop Dogg.
The Delfonics are an American R&B/soul vocal group from Philadelphia, Pa. They caught the rising tide of R&B music at just the right time in the late 1960s. Their most notable hits include “La-La (Means I Love You),” “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time),” “Break Your Promise,” “I’m Sorry,” and “Ready or Not Here I Come (Can't Hide from Love).”
On March 12 Ladies of Rock, The Tribute To Blondie, Heart, Cindy Lauper, Joan Jett and Pat Benatar will perform the best of rock music dedicated to these powerful female vocalists. Backed by a live band, the tribute artists are fully costumed, and both visually and vocally portray each artist to perfection.
LAS VEGAS’ ORIGINAL HOTEL CELEBRATES 116 YEARS OF HISTORY
The first hotel in Las Vegas, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, celebrates 116 years of operation this week on Jan. 13. Since its inception in 1906, the downtown mainstay has played a pivotal role in the evolution of the city’s hospitality and gaming industry.
Opening at One Fremont Street originally as Hotel Nevada, Golden Gate’s legacy has spanned the birth of Las Vegas, the Roaring 20s, the Rat Pack era and now the 21st century. Golden Gate has become the pinnacle for vintage Vegas charm with the preservation of 10 of its rooms from the property’s original incarnation, as well as artifacts, memorabilia and slot machines from decades past. The hotel-casino now sits across from owner Derek Stevens’ Circa Resort & Casino, meaning the operator now owns downtown’s oldest casino and its newest.
LAS VEGAS MINI GRAND PRIX CELEBRATES 30 YEARS IN BUSINESS
Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix, the seven-acre, multi-million-dollar amusement and family fun center, located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, is celebrating its 30th year in business with a year full of special events, consumer offers, and surprises, which can be followed on social media. There will be a special offer for anyone turning 30 in 2022.
The family and veteran-owned Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix has been operating since 1992. The venue features four amusement rides and four go kart tracks, including Las Vegas’ only kiddie karts and the valley’s only two-seat go karts. DISCOPUSSY, Downtown’s 6,500-square-foot after-hours dance haven at 512 E. Fremont St., is announcing a new residency with rising house and techno DJ, Mary Droppinz, on Saturday, Jan. 8 and Friday, April 8. The “To The Moon” residency will showcase Droppinz’s eclectic blend of experimental, acid, house, g house, hip hop, and more across the two show dates. Each night will begin at 10 p.m. and feature support by DJ Shaun and Phoenixx.
Droppinz’s fascination with rhythm began when growing up in her native Omaha, Neb., playing piano and learning from her father, a seasoned drummer. She carried her musical influence onto her current home of Los Angeles, working at Native Instruments by day and being enthralled by music long into the night. With refined technical expertise, she has performed across the United States.
The centerpiece of DISCOPUSSY is a custom-built disco-octopus, made from more than 10,000 laser cut components illuminated by more than 5,000 individually addressable light emitting diodes.

Celebrity chef brothers Bryan and Michael Voltaggio are joining forces to share a one-of-a-kind menu at Harvest restaurant in Bellagio Jan. 14-16. Guests will explore food selections conceptualized by the Voltaggio brothers exclusively for the weekend, where the famous television stars, judges and personalities will personally prepare and execute a variety of specialty dishes with their signature culinary-level mastery.

MGM RESORTS NAMES MASTER SOMMELIER DOUGLAS KIM WINE DIRECTOR
MGM Resorts International has named Master Sommelier Douglas Kim Director of Wine with oversight of 350,000 bottles and 10,000 labels within the MGM Resorts active collection spanning hundreds of restaurants and bars at 13 iconic destinations in Las Vegas including Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand, Park MGM and Mandalay Bay.
Kim said it is his vision to cultivate a macro wine program, which can be micro-focused to each restaurant’s needs and personalized to guests’ individual preferences. Kim previously helmed two of the most prestigious wine programs in the country as Wine Director of Picasso Restaurant at Bellagio and Sommelier at Mandalay Bay’s Aureole. During his time in those positions, Kim implemented a process around guest interactions to learn about their personal tastes further catering to the individual palates.
Growing up in Chicago, Kim developed a love for the culinary arts early in life, cooking with his older sisters while his parents worked. His passion for wine was discovered during a mandatory three-week wine class in culinary school. Upon learning the Court of Master Sommelier tests was one of the most difficult in the world to pass, he eagerly pursued the challenge and succeeded, earning his diploma twice and becoming one of the few double-certified Master Sommeliers in the world.
CORE CONTEMPORARY GALLERY PLANS LIMITED ENGAGEMENT EXHIBITION
Local art gallery Core Contemporary will present a limited engagement exhibition sponsored by Meow Wolf Las Vegas and Core Arts Concord entitled “Local Explorations” starting Saturday, Jan. 22. The exhibition will feature artwork in various mediums and styles from 13 of the Las Vegas-based artists who contributed their talents to Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart at AREA15. “Local Explorations” will be on display at Core Contemporary at 900 E. Karen Ave. Ste. D222, Wednesday-Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. through Saturday, Feb. 26. Admission to Core Contemporary is complimentary and select works will be available for purchase from participating artists.

ATOMIC TESTING MUSEUM SPEAKER DISCUSSES VEGAS AND ATOMIC AGE
The Distinguished Lecture series at the National Atomic Testing Museum will feature Dr. Loren Lerner, Professor Emerita of Art History at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, on Saturday, Jan. 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. live on zoom. The subject will be “Las Vegas, City of the Atomic Age: Pop Culture and Protest Art.” Cost is free.
In 1957, pop artist Richard Hamilton defined pop culture as mass produced, aimed at youth, witty, sexy, gimmicky, glamorous, big business. During her presentation, Dr. Lerner will discuss how all these aspects of pop culture arose in Las Vegas because of the fascination with the atomic bomb and the visibility of mushroom clouds at the Nevada Test site located about 65 miles from the city. She will also be sharing other visual expressions of the Atomic Age, including the protest art in Nevada, which attempted to raise public consciousness to stop the testing of nuclear weaponry.
