IT WILL BE ‘WEEKENDS WITH ADELE’ IN 2022 AT CAESARS PALACE
Singing sensation Adele has delighted her fans with the announcement of an exclusive residency in the Colosseum at Caesar Palace beginning Friday, Jan. 21. Her show called “Weekends with Adele” signifies she will perform two shows each weekend through Saturday, April 16. The announcement comes on the heels of Adele recently releasing her fourth studio album, “30,” on Columbia Records. The “30” album, which debuted at No. 1 on album charts in 30 countries, is already one of the biggest selling albums of 2021.
MICHAEL BUBLÉ SIGNS ON FOR SIX SHOWS AT RESORTS WORLD
While short-and-sweet committing to a residency of six shows, multiple Grammy winner Michael Bublé will headline at Resorts World April 27, 29-30 and May 4, 6-7.
His residency will serve as a super-sized release party for his new Warner Bros. album, which will debut in early Spring 2022. Bublé plans to salute old Las Vegas with an intimate show in the new 5,000-capacity, state-of-the-art Resorts World Theatre. He will feature his timeless hits accompanied by a full orchestra and unmatched audio and video technology.
JOHN LEGEND SCHEDULES 24-DATE RESIDENCY AT PLANET HOLLYWOOD
The 12-time Grammy winner John Legend will perform 24 dates at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood between April and October 2022. His “Love in Las Vegas” residency will open April 22.
The EGOTer will play songs from all his albums, and he notes it will be the 15th anniversary of his second album “Once Again.” He will channel elements from his 2021 tour, but with a bigger stage, he will Vegas-size the show. Legend recently departed from his longtime label Columbia and moved to Republic Records where he will release new music in 2022.
Interestingly, a few weeks ago, Legend was in the audience at Zappos Theater watching fellow “The Voice” judge and friend Gwen Stefani close out her Las Vegas residency.
THE BLACK CROWES PLAN RETURN TO HOUSE OF BLUES
Following a successful two-night run at the House Of Blues Las Vegas inside Mandalay Bay earlier this month, The Black Crowes have announced they will return with “The Black Crowes: Twice As Hard” for another set of back-to-back 8 p.m. performances on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11 and 12. The “Big Game” weekend special will see The Black Crowes perform all their chart-topping hits, including fan favorites from their landmark multiplatinum debut album “Shake Your Money Maker.”

COMEDIAN BILL BURR WILL RETURN TO THE CHELSEA
For the third consecutive year, The Cosmopolitan will welcome comedian Bill Burr back to The Chelsea as part of his 2022 residency. The announcement comes on the heels of his successful two-year run there. Dates to mark down are Fridays and Saturdays, March 18-19 and July 15-16. Tickets start at $69.
The Grammy-nominated comedian is one of the top comedic voices of his generation achieving success in TV and film as well as on stage. Burr sells out theaters internationally and his “Monday Morning Podcast” is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts. His animated Netflix series, “F Is For Family,” with Laura Dem, Justin Long and Sam Rockwell premiered its fifth and final season on Thanksgiving Day. On Nov. 5, Burr premiered his Roku series, “Bill Burr Presents: Immoral Compass,” and in September, he made a guest appearance as Coach Bobson in episode 7 of the hit FX on Hulu series, “Reservation Dogs.” He had a recurring role as “Kuby” on the hit AMC-TV show, “Breaking Bad.”
His film credits continue to grow. Burr starred opposite Pete Davidson and Marisa Tomei in “The King of Staten Island;” was seen in the Hugh Jackman film, “The Front Runner” and the Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell film, “Daddy’s Home;” he co-stars opposite Kevin Costner in the indie film, “Black or White;” appeared in the Paul Feig film, “The Heat,” alongside Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy and in the Al Pacino and Christopher Walken film “Stand Up Guys.” Bill received raves for his recurring role as “Kuby” on the on the hit AMC-TV show, “Breaking Bad.”
LIONEL RICHIE EXTENDS ‘BACK TO LAS VEGAS’ RESIDENCY AT WYNN
After a sold-out residency at Wynn, international music icon Lionel Richie is extending his residency with a 12-show engagement at the Encore Theater in early 2022. Richie’s show “Lionel Richie: Back to Las Vegas!” will resume on select nights in January, February, March and April. The Oscar®, Golden Globe®, and four-time Grammy Award® winner will share stories from his multi-decade career, which included No. 1 hits for 11 consecutive years. Richie has sold more than 125 million albums worldwide and will perform his iconic hits such as “All Night Long,” “Hello,” “Easy,” and others in this exclusive production.
DAVID LEE ROTH ADDS DATES TO HOUSE OF BLUES ENGAGEMENT
Due to popular demand, David Lee Roth – front man and voice of Van Halen – is adding four additional dates to his limited engagement at the intimate House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay. Tickets start at $63.50 for his 9 p.m. performances.
Roth’s original dates Dec.31, Jan. 1, 5, 7-8 are sold out. His added dates are Jan. 14-15, and 21-22.
‘HOMETOWN HOLIDAY HITS’ WILL BE PRESENTED AT SUNCOAST
“Hometown Holiday Hits” at the Suncoast Dec. 16-19 will put the swing and doo wop in the holiday season with vocal harmonies harkening back to the 40s and 50s. The upbeat variety show will feature the vintage vocal trio The Swing It Girls and The Doo-Wop Kings.
These two notable local groups will create musical magic on a festive Christmas stage Dec. 16-19 at 7 p.m. as well as a special matinee show on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $29.
HOLIDAY SPIRIT ADVENTURE AT ELLIS ISLAND’S FRONT YARD
The two-story indoor-outdoor beer garden known as The Front Yard at Ellis Island is presenting another year of holiday décor paired with movie screenings, cocktails and eggnog, and events to get guests into the holiday spirit.
Fan-favorite free movie screenings have returned on select nights this holiday season with special menu items including DIY Gingerbread men for $12 and Gourmet Popcorn $7 for guests to feast on while watching hit movies on the big screen at 5:30 and 8 p.m. “National Lampoons Vacation” is on Dec. 15 and “ELF” on Dec. 22. If you dress up like and elf, you can receive a free holiday cocktail on Dec. 22.

RED ROCK DISPLAYS GIANT GINGERBREAD HOTEL
There’s a confectionary masterpiece constructed from edible sweets on display for the holiday season at the Red Rock Resort’s casino, which is a five-by-nine-foot gingerbread replica of the resort. It took The Bake Shop 10-member team 150 hours to build.
Red Rock Bake Shop team members also created a gingerbread ski chalet inside Merry Crimson’s Tinsel Town, complete with a miniature ski lift. Merry Crimson is the resort’s festive indoor and outdoor poolside lounge, which has been transformed into Tinsel Town, a venue draped in sophisticated holiday décor, festive cocktails, live DJ-spun music, fire pits and photo moments galore. Tinsel Town is open every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays from 5 p.m. to midnight through Dec. 23. and then daily from Dec. 24 to Jan. 1.
TIVOLI VILLAGE REVEALS NEW OUTDOOR DINING PODS FOR WINTER
Tivoli Village has introduced six brand-new outdoor dining pods with room for four guests in each pod. The inviting greenhouse-like structures provide a pleasant, cozy space where visitors can order takeout from some of Tivoli Village’s signature restaurants and cafes, including Ada’s Wine Bar, El Dorado Cantina, Leone Café and PKWY Tavern. The outdoor dining pods are free to use and available on a first-come, first-served basis daily from noon to 10 p.m.
GREEN VALLEY RANCH COMMEMORATES 20 YEARS THIS MONTH
Green Valley Ranch is commemorating its 20th anniversary with events this month. The first luxury resort in Henderson opened its doors on Dec. 18, 2001. The neighborhood resort will celebrate with a public Fireworks By Grucci show on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 9 p.m.
Drop Bar, the center bar known for its meet-up location in the heart of the casino floor, will return with a dramatic urban chic makeover and reopen in mid-December.
“The Garth Guy-The Ultimate Garth Brooks Tribute Show” will perform on Friday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. inside Green Valley Ranch Grand Events Center. Tickets are $20.
Guests can enjoy an anniversary photo display for a photo moment all month long next to Lucky Penny. A photographer will be on-site from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 18 to capture the magic.
DUO ANNIVERSARIES ABOUND ON FERGUSONS CITY BLOCK
On Dec. 11, Fergusons City Block will come alive with a day-long birthday bash full of food, music and shopping to celebrate the second anniversary of opening its doors and the first anniversary of its incubator restaurant, Vegas Test Kitchen.
When Fergusons Downtown officially opened in December 2019, only a few of the shops were filled, but the potential was there. Yet when March 2020 hit, the future was unknown. Today, Fergusons Downtown is home to 32 small businesses and two restaurants. It has supported more than 15 different organizations and nonprofits, donating space, support and resources for their events, concept launches and more. Through Vegas Test Kitchen, more than 30 chefs and concepts have been born and/or had a place to serve the community.
Since opening The Market Shop, more than $62,000 has gone back to the local vendors whose products make up the shop, and since re-launching Market in the Alley earlier this year more than $200,000 has gone back into local micro and small businesses and creatives. When live music was allowed again, Fergusons started activating its stage for local artists and entertainers.
A Celebration of Life for Tony Hsieh, the co-founder and visionary behind Fergusons Downtown, will also be part of the day.
TAILGATE SOCIAL TO HOST VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHT VIEWING PARTY
Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill, located at Palace Station, will support the Vegas Golden Knights spirit with a viewing party with complimentary shots, special appearances and a chance to win VGK tickets on Tuesday, Dec. 14.

NEVADA BALLET PRESENTS ‘THE NUTCRACKER’ AT THE SMITH CENTER
Las Vegas’ annual holiday tradition returns to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts with Nevada Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker” appearing in Reynolds Hall Dec. 11-26.
Prior to the show, families can enjoy a free bonus experience, The Nutcracker Wonderland sponsored by C.A. Hartnell and Jaguar Land Rover Las Vegas in the adjacent Troesh Theatre. Highlighting The Nutcracker Wonderland experience is the arrival of a special guest to read the story of “The Nutcracker” to all the children.

TWIN CREEKS STEAKHOUSE AT SILVERTON REOPENS WITH A FACELIFT
Twin Creeks, the Silverton’s award-winning steakhouse, has reopened its doors after being closed for over a year. The newly reopened concept showcases a new menu featuring premium steaks, seafood, an extensive wine list, and boutique bourbons along with an updated interior.
While bringing back menu classics, new standout items are added such as Truffle short rib tortellini, Crab & Lobster Louie, and Creekstone Farms 40 oz. tomahawk for two served with lobster mashed potatoes, truffle butter, grilled asparagus, bearnaise sauce, red wine demi-glace for$165.

LV MOTOR SPEEDWAY CAPTURES SPEEDWAY OF THE YEAR AWARD
Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) was chosen Speedway of the Year from among eight state-of-the-art speedway motorsports entertainment complexes. The award is presented to Las Vegas for the best overall performance during 2021 in such aspects as fan friendliness, attendance, financial performance, sponsor relations and creativity. This is the seventh time LVMS has won since the award’s inception in 2013.
The speedway hosted more than 1,400 events in 2021 including two NASCAR tripleheader weekends, two NHRA national events, EDC, numerous local and regional racing events and hundreds of corporate events.
NATHAN ADELSON HOSPICE HOSTS 3RD ANNUAL ‘LUMINARIES OF LOVE’
Nathan Adelson Hospice, the oldest, largest and only nonprofit hospice in Nevada, will host its 3rd annual “Luminaries of Love” lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. at Downtown Summerlin®. Participants are invited to donate and personalize luminary bags to honor those who have passed and those still living, who bring light to our lives.
The tradition of the luminary became popular throughout New Mexico, Utah and Nevada as a visual tribute of honor and love and has spread to communities across the nation as they emulate this radiant Southwestern tradition.
After the lighting ceremony, the luminaries will continue to memorialize loved ones at both Nathan Adelson Hospice inpatient unit locations through early January.
