SALT ROOM LV IN SUMMERLIN CELEBRATES THREE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

This month, the Salt Room LV in Summerlin is celebrating a three-year milestone. Having no idea about salt room therapy, it was amazing to meet the establishment’s founder and owner Ava Mucikyan and to learn and have a first-hand experience.

Salt therapy, also commonly known as Halotherapy, includes relaxing in a solid “salt cave” for a 45-minute session. The cave walls are large Himalayan salt bricks while the floor is covered in Himalayan salt pebbles, and pharmaceutical-grade, breathable particles of salt circulate throughout the room. The quiet cave has comfortable lounge chairs and a spa-like atmosphere. You can read or just relax while taking in a glorious rather addicting experience. Mucikyan has also built a colorful separate dedicated salt playroom for children. According to Mucikyan, a 45-minute session is equivalent to three days at an ocean beach.

In addition, Salt Room LV hosts monthly yoga and meditation workshops and can accommodate multiple guests or private sessions.

Merchandise products made of from pure Himalayan salt, such as shot glasses, lamps and blocks are available. Since opening in 2015, Salt Room LV has developed its own line of all-natural skin care products using organic ingredients, including salt scrubs, bath salts, body lotions and lip balms.
Located at 1958 Village Center Cir, Ste. 7, Salt Room LV is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
