Oribe Hair Team Audition

The Oribe Hair Team will be holding an audition on Thursday, March 11, 2010 and are looking for females for a hair show.
Age range is 15-30 years.
The Hair Show: April 25th-for cuts & colors-models "selected" will be paid a rate range from $250 to $350 for the day, 7am to 7pm (this depends on what is done to the hair).
The Hair Show: April 26th - Wigs & Make Up -Models "selected" will be working from 9:30am to 6pm for $100 + hair gift bag, lunch will be provided.
The models/people selected will be required to sign an Oribe contract/release for this show & a Red Agency contract/release for this show.
All terms for the Oribe Company to make payment will be in the contracts but basically payment works as follows:  Oribe will pay Red, for all people hired, 45 days after the event and Red Agency will pay all models/talent/people 2 weeks after payment is received so payment will take 60 days from the event.

Audition Time to meet the Oribe Team is: 4:00pm
Dress: To Impress
Make Up-Light and pretty
Hair-Down and natural but pretty
Bring a snap shot photo with name and contact info written on the back to leave with the client (it will not be returned) or a headshot or zed card.
If models are underage: a parent and a letter confirming person can do the show is a must.
All details for the show will be provided at the meeting with Oribe Team.

The New Deal

We're moving ahead with Callback.  The more content we add, the more hits we get...so we're adding a lot more content..  I am still not going to charge for listing anything...so send me your auditions, and I'll put them up.   I have decided to charge a monthly fee for putting up banner ads (in spite of the pronouncements from Madame X.)  It's still free to list, and it's still free to look through everything.

Now...You can to hire me as a graphic designer to create something for you, and you can hire me as a photographer for headshots or production shots...that's great.  But I won't take money to put stuff up on this site...except for banners.
There are so many plans in the works for this site...enjoy as it all unfolds.

I’m backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a 10 year hiatus I’m backkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!! After Mark Tan passed I just couldn’t cope….he was Dirt Alert/CallBack and meant sooooooooooo much to me. He actually catapulted my career in journalism. Thank-you Mark. I know you hear me. So I took a 10 year break……..and let me tell you…….what a break it was. Traveled the world and now am glad to re-enter the entertainment world of CallBack..gosh I have missed all of you so much.

I want to thank Bill Sewers and Chuck Rounds for keeping this going in my absence.(you know I am going to depend on you boys for content and photos galore)

Well that’s it for now. Look for more and more auditions, entertainment news, and gossip in the coming issues.

Plus I’m working on a new look for CallBack. A bit of a face lift.

And remember this site is absolutely freeeeeeeeeeeeeee

AUDITIONS – The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies

The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies is seeking male and female dancers and singers (who must have strong dance background) who are at least 55 years of age or older.  The Follies, a major Broadway-scale production, is soon beginning its 20th grand season at the historic Plaza Theatre.  The Show features glamorous showgirl wardrobe, fabulous scenery, and exciting choreography by Joan Palethorpe and Carri Burbank Glen. The season runs from mid-August through mid-May.  Nevada wages are paid and accommodations are provided.  The Audition date is Saturday, May 22, 2010. Call backs will be on the 23rd.  Singer auditions are by appointment only and are scheduled from 11am to 1pm.  Dancer auditions (open call) begin at 2pm.  Audition Location:  The historic Plaza Theatre, 128 S. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA.

MALE DANCERS – 5' 10” and up. Strong classical & jazz training, tap a plus. Rehearsals begin April, 2010.

FEMALE DANCERS – 5' 4” and up. Strong classical & jazz training, tap a plus. Replacement rehearsals begin May/June 2010.

MALE AND FEMALE SINGERS – Singer who can move well. Both males and females needed for immediate and future replacements.

Looking for attractive female 21-40 with solid stage experience for a comedy and magic show at Seven Feathers Indian Casino in Oregon. Rehearsals in Vegas . Show in Canyonville Oregon from about May 25 -July 26.

Additional weeks at another location in Nevada is a possibility.

The show is a small show in a small room and features and is directed by Mark Kornhauser.   The show is called Wowzapalooza and features Mark Kornhauser (comic magician--www.markkornhauser. com) and Zsa Zsa the Singing Wonder Dog. (www.barkobama.com).
The pay is $500/wk for two shows five nights a week. Private room, meal, and transportation allowance provided. Subsequent shows may pay more.
